Private Practice 

I currently maintain a private practice in Santa Ana, California where I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from all stages of Alzheimer’s disease as well as other forms of dementia. I previously served as Medical Director for the Senior Mental Health Unit of Chapman Medical Center, and I have served as the Associate Medical Director of the NeuroPsychiatric Management Group. Additionally, I have served as Medical Director at numerous secured dementia facilities and have chaired the Psychotropic Utilization Review Committees for several long-term care facilities in Orange County, CA. I am dedicated to the clinical evaluation and treatment of patients living with dementia and other CNS disorders.

Syrentis Clinical Research is a multi-specialty clinical research institute which conducts clinical trials with an emphasis in CNS disorders (Alzheimer's Dementia, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, insomnia), as well as diabetes mellitus, COPD, peripheral neuropathy, cardiovascular disease, fibromyalgia, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, chronic pain, endocrine disorders, metabolic syndrome, claudication, PVD, birth control, dermatologic disorders, and new drug delivery systems, including vaccines, inhalers, injections, and topical/patch systems.

My highly qualified team consists of a dedicated site manager, regulatory / quality assurance manager, two PhD psychologists with extensive rater training, six physicians with over 75 years of combined experience as principal/sub-investigators, multiple clinical coordinators, dedicated front office staff, pharmacy staff and a marketing / business development team.

I am dedicated to the clinical evaluation and treatment of patients living with dementia, and I have served as Principal or Sub-Investigator on over 200 clinical research trials with an emphasis in performing clinical trials evaluating treatment options for patients with Alzheimer's Dementia.

As the owner and President of Syrentis Clinical Research, my goal is to continue to conduct quality clinical research in an ethical manner with a focus on the satisfaction of both sponsors and subjects.

Education And Training

I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Public Health. I received my Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and then completed my residency at the University of California, Irvine in Adult and General Psychiatry.
